After about 15 kilometers, take the left turn onto a gravel road marked for Barkote View Point. Continue on this gravel road for approximately 5 kilometers, following the signs. The road may be bumpy, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain. You will reach the Barkote View Point, where you can park your car.
Public Transportation
From the main entrance of Lake Bogoria, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Marigat. Once you reach Marigat town, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Barkote View Point. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting the journey; it should typically cost around 200-300 Kenyan Shillings. The boda boda will drop you near the viewpoint, and you may have to walk a short distance to reach the exact spot.
Walking
