Walking
If you are in Nakuru town, start at the Kenyatta Avenue bus stop. Head southeast on Kenyatta Avenue towards the Nakuru Central Business District (CBD). Walk straight until you reach the junction with Moi Avenue. Turn right onto Moi Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Nakuru - Eldoret Road (A104). Cross over to the other side of the road and continue walking north along the Nakuru - Eldoret Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Hyrax Hill Museum on your left. Follow the sign and take a left onto a dirt road that leads uphill towards the museum entrance. The museum is approximately 500 meters up the road.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nakuru town. Start your journey from the Nakuru Central Business District. Head east on Kenyatta Avenue then turn right onto Moi Avenue.
