Take the exit onto Crater Lane, and after approximately 10 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance to Menengai Crater. Make sure to check if there are any entrance fees at the gate, which may vary.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyandarua Range to Nakuru. These matatus can be found at the local bus stop. The fare is typically around 150-200 KES per person and the journey takes about 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once in Nakuru, you can catch another matatu heading towards Menengai Crater. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Menengai Crater on Crater Lane. The fare for this leg is usually around 50 KES. Upon arrival, check for any entrance fees at the gate.

Bicycle
