Getting There

Walking
From the Lamu Fort, head southeast on Hodi Hodi Street towards the main market. Continue straight until you reach the corner where the market ends. Turn right onto the main path leading to Shella. Keep walking past the various shops and restaurants. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive at the Shella beach area. As you approach the beach, look for a sign indicating 'Shella @Moon' on your left. Follow the path to the shop located at Shella @Moon.

Walking
If you are starting from the Lamu Museum, exit the museum and head towards the waterfront. Walk along the waterside path until you reach the main boat landing area. From there, you can take a traditional dhow or a small boat to Shella. The boat ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Shella, disembark and walk towards the beach area. Look for the 'Shella @Moon' sign on your left, which will lead you to the Lamu Local Artist Shop.

From the Old Town area, make your way to the narrow alleys leading towards the waterfront. Navigate through the alleys until you reach the main street that runs along the beach. Turn left and walk along the shoreline. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will see the Shella beach. Continue walking until you see the 'Shella @Moon' sign on your left. The Lamu Local Artist Shop is located there.
