Getting There

From the center of Lamu Town, head towards the waterfront and follow the signs to Shela Beach. Walk along the main path that leads you past the Old Fort and the Lamu Museum. Continue walking towards Shela, keeping the sea on your right until you reach the end of the path. The Ubunifu Lamu Community Art Center is located at PW64+6PQ in Shela, just a short walk from the beach area.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Lamu Town. Once you have your bike, head towards Shela Beach following the same route as you would on foot.
