From the center of Malindi, head north on the main road towards Mambrui. Follow the road that runs parallel to the coastline. Keep walking until you reach the junction at Mambrui. Take a left turn at this junction. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you see signs pointing to the Sabaki River Estuary. The estuary is about 500 meters further along the road on the right side, look for the entrance marked with a small sign.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Malindi. Start your journey from the Malindi town center and cycle north along the main road towards Mambrui. Make sure to stay on the main road for about 4 kilometers until you reach the junction at Mambrui. Turn left at the junction and continue cycling for another 2 kilometers.
