If you are traveling by car within Mount Elgon National Park, you can drive to the Sipi Falls area by taking the road towards Kapchorwa. From the main park road, look for signs directing you to Sipi Falls. The distance from the park entrance to Sipi Falls is approximately 30 kilometers, and it takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on road conditions. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as some parts of the road may be unpaved.

Public Transportation
To reach Sipi Falls via public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Mbale to Kapchorwa. Matatus leave frequently from Mbale town, and the fare is usually around 10,000 UGX. Once in Kapchorwa, hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Sipi Falls. The boda boda ride will cost you about 5,000 to 10,000 UGX, depending on the negotiation. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
