    From the main entrance of Mount Elgon National Park, drive towards the park headquarters located near Budadiri. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. At the park headquarters, you will need to register and pay an entry fee, which is around $40 for foreign visitors. After registration, continue driving towards the trailhead at Sipi Falls, where you can park your car. The trail to Wagagai summit starts at the nearby trailhead.

    Hiking

    From the trailhead at Sipi Falls, follow the marked hiking trail leading to Wagagai summit. The trek is challenging and will take approximately 6-8 hours depending on your pace.
