Turn onto the access road leading to the falls, which is well-marked. There are parking areas available near the entrance to the waterfall site. Keep in mind that the road can be bumpy in some sections, so drive carefully.
Public Transportation
To reach Chania Waterfall using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyeri town heading towards Nanyuki. Get off at the junction for Chania Falls, which is approximately 30 kilometers from Nyeri. From the junction, you may need to walk a short distance down a dirt path leading to the waterfall. Alternatively, you can arrange for a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you from the junction to the waterfall entrance.
Walking
Once you arrive at the entrance of Chania Waterfall, you'll need to walk a short trail to get to the viewing area. The walk is relatively easy and takes about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven in places.
