If you are traveling by car, you can easily navigate from the nearest major town, Nanyuki, to Mount Kenya. Start by heading east on the Nanyuki - Meru Road (A2). After approximately 20 kilometers, you will see signs for Mount Kenya National Park. Turn left onto the road leading to the park entrance. Please note there is an entrance fee of about $20 for non-residents. Once inside, follow the signs to the various campsites or the peak trailhead.

To reach Mount Kenya using public transport, start from Nanyuki town. Head to the Nanyuki bus station and take a matatu (shared taxi) to the Mount Kenya National Park gate. The fare is approximately 200-300 Kenyan Shillings (around $2). Inform the driver you are going to the Mount Kenya gate. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes.
