    If you are traveling by car, head towards the Nanyuki town from your location in the Mount Kenya Region. Follow the A2 highway, and then take the road towards Nanyuki. Once in Nanyuki, continue to the Nanyuki Airstrip area, where you will find signs directing you to Mount Kenya National Park. You need to pay an entrance fee at the park gate, which is approximately Ksh 1,000 for citizens and Ksh 2,000 for non-residents. After entering the park, drive towards the Sirimon Gate, which is one of the main access points to the park. From there, you can park your car and begin your trek to Point Lenana.

    To use public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nanyuki town heading towards the Mount Kenya National Park. The fare is usually around Ksh 200-300. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Sirimon Gate. Once you arrive, pay the entrance fee at the gate, which is approximately Ksh 1,000 for citizens and Ksh 2,000 for non-residents.
