Getting There

Car

From Nanyuki town, head southeast on the Nanyuki-Nairobi road (A2) for about 10 kilometers. Look for the sign for Mount Kenya National Park on your right. Turn right onto the C72 road and continue for about 7 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Mount Kenya National Park. Be sure to stop at the park gate to pay your entrance fee and gather any necessary information.
Public Transportation

From Nanyuki, go to the Nanyuki bus station and take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Meru. Inform the driver to drop you off at the Mount Kenya National Park entrance. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you will need to walk about 500 meters from the main road to the park entrance. Be sure to check the matatu schedule for the return trip.
Car

If you are coming from Nyeri town, take the Nyeri-Nanyuki road (C72) heading north for about 40 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Mount Kenya National Park. Turn left onto the road leading to the park entrance. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers, and you'll arrive at the park gate. Remember to pay for entry and check in.
Public Transportation

From Nyeri town, you can catch a matatu to Nanyuki. Once you arrive in Nanyuki, switch to a matatu heading towards the park entrance or to Meru and ask to be dropped off at the Mount Kenya National Park entrance. The total travel time will be around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on waiting times.
