Car
If you're driving from Nairobi, head northeast on the A2 highway towards Nyeri. The drive takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Nyeri, follow signs towards Mount Kenya National Park. Continue driving until you reach the entrance of the park. From there, you can park your car and proceed to the Mount Kenya Climbing Expeditions office for registration.
Public Transportation - Matatu
To travel by public transport, head to the central bus station in Nairobi. Look for matatus (shared minivans) heading to Nyeri. The fare is typically around 300-400 KES. The journey will take approximately 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Nyeri, you can take a taxi or a local matatu to reach the Mount Kenya National Park entrance, and then proceed to the Mount Kenya Climbing Expeditions office.
