Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Nanyuki, take the A2 road towards Meru. After approximately 70 km, look for the turnoff to the A3 road. Follow the A3 for about 25 km until you reach a junction at Chuka. Continue straight towards Chuka town. Once in Chuka, head towards the Nithi Falls signpost which will guide you to the right. After 10 minutes of driving on a dirt road, you will arrive at the parking area for Nithi Falls. Note that a small parking fee may apply.

Public Transportation
From Nanyuki, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Meru. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Chuka. The fare is approximately 200 KES. Once in Chuka, you may need to hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to the falls, which will cost around 300 KES. The boda boda ride will take about 15 minutes. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

If you are staying in Chuka, you can walk to Nithi Falls. From the town center, follow the main road heading east towards the Nithi Falls signpost. The walk is about 6 km and will take approximately 1.5 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water. The path may be uneven, so exercise caution.
