Car
From Nanyuki Town, take the Nanyuki - Meru Road (A2) heading east. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction at Kiburu. Turn left onto the road leading to Ololokwe, which is well-marked. Drive for another 12 kilometers until you reach the base of Mt. Ololokwe. Parking is available near the starting point of the hiking trail, but be prepared for a rough road towards the end.

From Nanyuki Town, board a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Meru. Inform the driver that you are going to Mt. Ololokwe. The matatu will drop you at Kiburu junction. From there, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to the base of Mt. Ololokwe, which is about 12 kilometers away. The cost for the boda boda ride is usually around KSh 300-500, depending on negotiation.
