    If you are driving, head to Nanyuki via the Nanyuki - Rumuruti Highway. Once you reach Nanyuki town, look for Hospital Road. Turn onto Hospital Road and continue straight until you see Riversyde Villas on your left. Mount Kenya Hike is located within Riversyde Villas, off Hospital Road.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Mount Kenya Hike using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nairobi to Nanyuki. The journey takes about 3-4 hours. Upon arrival at the Nanyuki matatu stage, you can either walk or take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to Riversyde Villas. If walking, head towards Hospital Road and look for Riversyde Villas on your left. It’s approximately a 1.5 km walk from the matatu stage.

  • Boda Boda

    If you prefer a quicker option after arriving in Nanyuki, hire a boda boda from the matatu stage to Riversyde Villas. The ride should cost around 100-200 KES, depending on negotiation and distance.

  • Walking

    If you decide to walk from Nanyuki town to Riversyde Villas, exit the matatu stage and head towards the main road. Walk straight along Hospital Road, and after approximately 1.5 km, you will see Riversyde Villas on your left. This walk will take around 20-30 minutes.
