    If you are traveling by car, start from Nanyuki town, which is a common base for visitors to Mount Kenya. Head southeast on the Nanyuki-Nairobi highway (A2) for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the Chogoria Route. Look for a sign indicating Chogoria. Turn left onto the Chogoria Road. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Chogoria gate, where you will need to pay a park entry fee (approximately 1,000 KES for non-residents).
