Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD), you can easily walk to Kipande House. Start at Kenyatta Avenue, which is a major road in the CBD. Head towards the intersection with Uhuru Highway. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Haile Selassie Avenue. Turn left onto Haile Selassie Avenue and walk for about 500 meters. Kipande House will be on your left side, right after you pass the intersection with Lower Hill Road. Look for a historical building with distinct architecture.

  • Public Transport (Matatu)

    From any location in the city center, find a matatu heading towards Westlands or Parklands. Board the matatu at a designated matatu stage. Inform the conductor that you want to alight at the Kipande House stop, which is near the intersection of Haile Selassie Avenue and Lower Hill Road. After about a 10-15 minute ride, disembark at the Kipande House stop. Walk back towards the direction you came from, and Kipande House will be directly ahead.
