Walking
If you are starting from the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD), head towards Kenyatta Avenue. Walk along Kenyatta Avenue until you reach the junction with Moi Avenue. Turn left onto Moi Avenue and continue walking. You will see the Uhuru Park on your left. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Muindi Mbingu Street. Turn right onto Muindi Mbingu Street. City Market will be on your left, just a short walk down the street.

Matatu (Public Minibus)
From the Nairobi CBD, you can catch a matatu heading towards Kenyatta National Hospital or Eastleigh. Board the matatu from the designated matatu stage near the Kencom bus stop. After about 5-10 minutes, get off at the 'City Market' stop, which is often announced by the conductor. Once you get off, cross the street towards Muindi Mbingu Street, and you will see the entrance to City Market directly ahead.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
If you're looking for a quicker option, you can take a boda boda. Find a boda boda stand in the CBD, and tell the rider you want to go to City Market on Muindi Mbingu Street. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting on. The boda boda will drop you off right outside the market entrance.
