Walking
If you are staying in the central business district (CBD) of Nairobi, start by heading towards Kenyatta Avenue. Walk towards the direction of the National Museum of Kenya. Once you reach the museum, continue walking straight towards the traffic lights at the intersection with Uhuru Highway. Cross the road carefully at the traffic lights and continue on your left along the Prof. Wangari Maathai Road. The Snake Park will be on your right after approximately 10 minutes of walking. Look for the entrance marked 'Snake Park' which is adjacent to the National Museum.

To reach Snake Park using a matatu, go to the nearest matatu stage in the CBD, such as Kencom or Railways. Look for a matatu heading towards Westlands or one that is labeled 'Museum' or 'Kilimani'. Board the matatu and pay the fare (around 50-100 KES). Request the conductor to drop you off at the National Museum stop. Once you get off, walk towards the entrance of the National Museum, and you will see the entrance to Snake Park on your right within the same premises.
