From Lavington, head towards the main road, which is James Gichuru Road. Walk northeast until you reach the intersection with Waiyaki Way. This should take about 15-20 minutes on foot, depending on your starting point in Lavington.

Once you reach the intersection with Waiyaki Way, look for a matatu (shared minibus) heading towards the city center. Board one that is labeled 'Westlands' or 'Uhuru Park' (fare is approximately KES 50). Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Serena Hotel stop, which is near Central Park.

Walking
After getting off at the Serena Hotel stop, walk towards the entrance of Central Park Nairobi. The park is located directly opposite Uhuru Park and can be accessed through several entrances. You should see signage indicating the entry points.
