Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Lavington, you can walk to Giraffe Centre located on Duma Rd. Start from any point in Lavington and head towards the nearest major road, either Ngong Road or Lavington Green. If you are near Lavington Mall, walk towards Ngong Road. Once you reach Ngong Road, turn left and continue straight. You will find a sign that directs you to Duma Rd. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach Giraffe Centre, which will be on your right.

    For a quicker option, you can take a Matatu (shared minibus). From Lavington, head to the nearest Matatu stage. Look for Matatus heading towards the city center and board one. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the 'Hurlingham' stage. From Hurlingham, transfer to another Matatu heading towards 'Lang'ata' or 'Karen'. Ask to be dropped off at the 'Giraffe Centre' stop, which is near Duma Rd. The fare should be around 50-100 KES, depending on your distance.
