    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Westlands, head towards the roundabout at the Sarit Centre. From the roundabout, take the exit towards Waiyaki Way (A104). Walk along Waiyaki Way for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction with Uhuru Highway. You will see the entrance to Uhuru Park on your left side. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20-25 minutes.

    Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a boda boda from any point in Westlands. Simply approach a boda boda station or flag one down. Inform the rider that you want to go to Uhuru Park, located at 23 Uhuru Highway. The ride should cost around 100-200 Kenyan Shillings (approximately $1-$2) and will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

    Public Bus (Matatu)

    To take a matatu to Uhuru Park, walk to the nearest matatu stage in Westlands. Look for a matatu heading towards the city center, specifically those labeled 'CBD' or 'Town'. Once you board, inform the conductor that you want to get off at Uhuru Highway. The fare is typically around 50 Kenyan Shillings (less than $1).
