Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Nakuru Town Centre, head towards Kenyatta Avenue. Walk down Kenyatta Avenue until you reach the intersection with Moi Road. Turn left onto Moi Road and continue walking straight. You will pass by various shops and local eateries. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the junction with the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway (A104). Cross the highway carefully and look for the sign indicating Menengai Crater. There are usually local guides offering to take tourists to the viewpoint. If you find a guide, you can negotiate a price for a walking tour to Menengai Crater View Point.

  • Bicycle

    From the Nakuru Town Centre, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start your journey by cycling along Kenyatta Avenue. Continue to Moi Road and turn left.
