The fare is typically around 100-200 KES. Once you board, inform the driver that you are going to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. The matatu will drop you off at the park entrance, from where you can walk to the lodge.

Follow the road signs leading to Lake Nakuru National Park. The distance is about 12 kilometers, and it will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach the park entrance. Once you arrive, follow the signs to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

If you are adventurous and fit, you can walk to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. Start from Nakuru town and head towards Old Nairobi Road (A104). It is roughly a 12-kilometer walk, and it will take you about 2-3 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring enough water. Follow the road signs to Lake Nakuru National Park, and upon reaching the entrance, ask for directions to the lodge.
