If you are driving, start from Nakuru town center and head east on the A104 road. Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the P493+CV5 intersection. Turn left onto P493 and follow the road for about 2 kilometers. Hyrax Hill will be on your left. Make sure to have a GPS or map app for real-time navigation. Parking is available near the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Hyrax Hill using public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) or bus from Nakuru town to the East Nakuru area. The fare should be around 50-100 KES depending on the distance. Once you reach the East Nakuru area, ask the driver to drop you at the nearest stop to P493. From the drop-off point, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers along P493 to reach Hyrax Hill. Ensure you ask locals for directions if you are unsure.

If you are staying close to Hyrax Hill, simply walk along P493, heading towards the Nakuru East area. The site is well-signposted, and it is about a 30-minute walk from the main road. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you stay on designated paths.
