Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major town, such as Isiolo. Take the A2 highway heading north towards Marsabit. After approximately 50 kilometers, you will reach the turn-off to Mt. Ololokwe. Look for a sign that indicates the direction. Turn onto the dirt road and continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the base of Mt. Ololokwe. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as the road may be unpaved and bumpy. Parking is available at the base, and make sure to check for any local fees for parking.

For those using public transport, head to the Isiolo bus station and take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Marsabit. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Mt. Ololokwe turn-off.
