After approximately 55 km, take a left turn onto a dirt road marked with local signage towards The Crying Stone. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach the parking area near the site. Note that the last part of the road may be rough, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation (Matatu)
From Garissa, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Mukumu. The fare is typically around 200 KES per person. Once you arrive in Mukumu, hire a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) for about 100 KES to take you to The Crying Stone. They are familiar with the area and can navigate the best routes for you. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
