The last stretch involves a dirt road; ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions. Be cautious of wildlife crossing the road and local traffic.

    From Shaba National Reserve, you may need to arrange a private transfer to Archer's Post, as public transport options are limited directly from the reserve. Once at Archer's Post, you can catch a matatu (shared minibus) heading towards Maralal. The matatus leave when full and the journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. After arriving in Maralal, you can hire a local taxi or arrange for a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Maralal National Conservancy, which is about 15 kilometers away.
