Once you reach Malindi, follow the signs to the Arabuko Sokoke National Reserve. The reserve is located approximately 14 kilometers from Malindi town. You can expect a drive of about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Upon reaching the reserve entrance, there may be an entrance fee, which is usually around KES 1,000 for locals and KES 2,000 for non-residents. Ensure your vehicle is adequately fueled as there are limited fuel stations near the reserve.

    To reach Arabuko Sokoke National Reserve via public transportation, first make your way to Malindi town. You can find matatus (shared minibuses) that operate from various locations in the Northern Frontier District heading towards Malindi. The fare to Malindi is typically around KES 300-500 depending on your start point. Once in Malindi, you will need to hire a taxi or a motorbike taxi (boda boda) to take you to the reserve entrance.
