If you are traveling by car from any location in Northern Frontier District, make your way to the main road that connects to the town of Wamba. From Wamba, head northeast on the C77 road, which leads directly towards Sarara Camp. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Sarara Camp. Follow these signs, and you will arrive at the lodge located at the coordinates 1.0085074 latitude and 37.3859846 longitude. Ensure your vehicle has a good clearance for some rough terrain, especially as you approach the camp.

To reach Sarara Camp via public transportation, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) or bus from various towns in the Northern Frontier District to Wamba. Once in Wamba, you can take another matatu heading towards the direction of Sarara Camp. It is recommended to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Sarara Camp, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. From the drop-off point, you may need to arrange for a local taxi or a motorbike taxi (boda-boda) to take you the remaining distance to the camp, as public transport may not operate directly to the lodge.
