Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, head towards Nyandarua Range via the Nyandarua County roads. From the nearest town, Nyahururu, take the Nyahururu - Ol Kalou road. After approximately 15 kilometers, look for signs directing you towards the Aberdare National Park entrance. Once you reach the park entrance, pay the entrance fee (approximately KES 300 for adults and KES 200 for children). Drive further into the park while keeping an eye out for signs directing you to Dragon's Teeth. The scenic views along the way are breathtaking, so be sure to stop at various lookout points.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyahururu to Ol Kalou and disembark at the Aberdare National Park entrance. The fare is approximately KES 100. From the entrance, you can either hire a local taxi to take you to Dragon's Teeth or, if you prefer hiking, you can walk the remaining distance (about 5 kilometers) through the park. Ensure you have sufficient time to explore, as the trails can be challenging and may take several hours to navigate.

Hiking
