If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Nyeri. From Nyeri, take the Nyeri-Nairobi highway (A2) and head towards the Aberdare National Park entrance. Follow the signs to the park. Once you reach the park entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee (approximately KSh 300 for Kenyan citizens and KSh 600 for non-residents). After entering the park, continue on the road until you reach the Karuru Waterfall trailhead. The drive from Nyeri to the park entrance takes about 1 hour.

To reach Karuru Waterfall using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyeri town to the Aberdare National Park entrance. Matatus are frequent and cost around KSh 100-200 per person.
