Car
If you are driving from Nyandarua Range, head towards Nyahururu town. From there, take the A104 road towards Nakuru. After approximately 17 km, turn left onto the C69 road, which will take you towards Kinangop. Continue on this road, and you will see signs indicating the direction to Kinangop Plateau. The journey is about 30 km from Nyahururu, and the road is generally in good condition. Ensure you have some cash for tolls or fuel, which may cost around KES 2000-3000 depending on your vehicle.

To reach Kinangop Plateau using public transport, board a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyahururu town heading to Nyeri or Nakuru. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the junction for Kinangop. From the junction, you can either walk about 8 km to the plateau or hire a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) for a fee of around KES 200-300. The matatu fare from Nyahururu to the junction will typically cost around KES 100-150.
