If you are driving from Nyandarua Range, head towards the town of Nanyuki. From Nanyuki, take the Nanyuki-Meru road (A2). Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you see signs for the Olbolosat turn-off on your right. Turn onto this road and follow it for about 10 kilometers until you reach Lake Olbolosat. Make sure to check your fuel before leaving Nanyuki as fuel stations may be limited along the route.

To reach Lake Olbolosat using public transportation, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyandarua Range to Nanyuki. These matatus leave regularly from the main bus stages.
