The marker is situated just off the main road, and there are signs directing you to the site. There are no entry fees to visit the Equator Marker.

Public Transportation

To reach the Equator Marker using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kisumu to Nanyuki. The journey takes about 4-5 hours and costs approximately 400-600 Kenyan Shillings, depending on the matatu service.
