    If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, which is Kitale. Drive southeast on the A1 highway towards Endebess. After approximately 30 kilometers, exit onto the B3 road towards Endebess. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the coordinates 2QJ5+X6M, which is the location of Kitum Caves. Make sure your vehicle has a good ground clearance, as some parts of the road may be rough.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Kitum Caves using public transportation, take a Matatu (shared taxi) from Kitale to Endebess. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Endebess, you can hire a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to Kitum Caves. Be prepared to negotiate the fare, which should be around KES 200-300. Ensure the boda boda driver is familiar with the caves, as they are a popular local destination.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the vicinity of Kitum Caves and prefer to walk, start from Endebess town center. Head southeast on the main road for about 7 kilometers.
