If you are traveling by car, start from either Lodwar or any other town in Turkana Basin. Head to the main road and follow signs for Nakuru. The Rift Valley View Point is located along the Nakuru - Nairobi Rd, approximately 30 kilometers from Nakuru town. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel for the journey, as gas stations may be sparse. The road is generally well-maintained, but be cautious of wildlife and potholes along the way. The viewpoint is accessible via a marked turn-off from the main road.

To reach the Rift Valley View Point via public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) or bus from Lodwar to Nakuru. Ensure you confirm that the vehicle is heading towards Nakuru - Nairobi Rd. Upon arrival in Nakuru, you will need to hire a taxi or a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to the Rift Valley View Point, which is approximately a 15-minute ride from Nakuru town center. Be prepared to negotiate the fare with the taxi or boda boda driver.
