Paddle Through Serenity at the Slalom Canoeing Center

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the main area of Brezovica Ski Resort, head south on the main road towards the town of Shtime. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit toward the M25 road heading east. Follow the M25 for about 30 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, continue straight onto the X76 road. Keep following the X76 road, and after about 15 kilometers, you will see signs for Dolna Matka. Turn left following the signs, and the Slalom Canoeing Center will be on your right. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Slalom Canoeing Center using public transportation, start at the Brezovica Ski Resort bus station. Take a bus towards the city of Ferizaj, which runs every hour and costs around 1.5 euros. Once in Ferizaj, transfer to a bus heading to Skopje. You will need to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop for Dolna Matka, which is approximately 15 kilometers from the Canoeing Center. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Slalom Canoeing Center, which will cost around 5 euros.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Brezovica Ski Resort to the Slalom Canoeing Center. The journey will take about 50 minutes and the fare will typically cost between 30 to 40 euros, depending on the taxi service. Ensure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.
