Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main road in the Jety-Oguz Valley. Head towards Dzhetyoguz village. Use GPS or a navigation app and input the coordinates (42.29972, 78.25232) to guide you directly to the Maidenly Plates Waterfall. The road conditions may vary, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for better access. Once you reach the approximate location (77X2+VWP), look for signs of the hiking trail leading to the waterfall.
Public Transportation
To reach Maidenly Plates Waterfall using public transportation, first, take a minibus (marshrutka) heading to Dzhetyoguz from the nearest city, which is Karakol. The fare is usually around 100 KGS. Once you arrive in Dzhetyoguz, you may need to hire a taxi or arrange for a local guide to take you closer to the waterfall. Be sure to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver in advance as there may not be a fixed rate, and the typical cost can range from 300 to 500 KGS depending on the distance. From the drop-off point, follow the marked hiking trail to reach the waterfall.
Hiking
If you prefer to hike, you can start from Dzhetyoguz village. Follow the trail that leads towards the waterfall, which is approximately a 2-3 hour hike depending on your fitness level. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the hike. The trail is generally well-marked, but having a local guide can enhance your experience and ensure you stay on the right path.
