    From Kolsai Lakes Park entrance, drive towards the Kolsai Lakes main road. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the Lower Kolsai Lake. Once parked, follow the trail signs to Upper Kolsai Lake, which is approximately a 5-kilometer hike uphill. The trail is well-marked and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

    If you are traveling via public transportation, first take a marshrutka (minibus) from Almaty to Saty village. The marshrutka ride costs around 1500 KZT and takes about 4 hours.
