Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Jety-Oguz Valley, head south on the A365 road. Continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction at Kyzyl-Oi. Take a right onto the road towards Dzuku Valley. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers. The road may be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Upper Dzuku Valley. Once you reach the designated parking area, you'll need to hike for about 2 kilometers to reach the Tibetan Rock Writing site.

  • Public Transportation

    To use public transportation, first take a marshrutka (minibus) from Jety-Oguz to Karakol, which costs around 100 KGS and takes about 30 minutes. From Karakol, you can take a taxi or another marshrutka heading towards Kyzyl-Oi. Once you reach Kyzyl-Oi, hire a local taxi or arrange for a ride to take you to the Dzuku Valley entrance. This taxi ride will cost approximately 500 KGS and should take about 30 minutes. After arriving at the entrance, you will need to hike about 2 kilometers to the Tibetan Rock Writing.
