From Tokmok, head to the main bus station located at the center of the city. Look for the buses heading towards Bishkek. You will need to take a bus towards Bishkek and ask the driver or the conductor to drop you off at the turn-off for the Kegeti gorge. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the turn-off, get off the bus and follow the road towards Kegeti gorge which is about a 10-15 minute walk.

If you're comfortable hitchhiking, after getting dropped off at the turn-off for Kegeti gorge, you can try to hitch a ride from passing vehicles. Make sure to have a clear sign indicating your destination, or simply show that you wish to go to Kol-Tor Lake. Local drivers are usually friendly and may offer you a ride. Once you're close to the gorge, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the lake.

If you prefer to walk, after reaching the turn-off for Kegeti gorge, you can follow the dirt path leading into the gorge. It’s a scenic route which will guide you through the beautiful landscape.
