Car
If you are traveling by car from Attapeu town, head southeast on Route 16. Continue for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 18. Take the left turn onto Route 18 and drive for about 12 kilometers. Look for signs pointing towards Nam On village. As you approach Nam On, follow local signs leading to Tad Koy Loy Far Waterfall. The last few kilometers will be on a smaller road which may require some careful navigation. You can park at the designated area near the waterfall entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Tad Koy Loy Far Waterfall using public transportation, start from Attapeu town and take a local bus or shared taxi towards Nam On village. These typically leave from the main bus station and cost around 10,000 LAK (Lao Kip). Upon arrival in Nam On, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk to take you the remaining distance to the waterfall. The tuk-tuk ride should cost about 20,000 LAK. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting the journey. Note that public transport options may have limited schedules, so it’s advisable to confirm the return times.
