From Phakse city center, head south on Route 13 towards the town of Champasak. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will see a sign for Song Phou Dan Waterfall. Turn right onto the dirt road and follow the signs. The waterfall is about 5 kilometers down this road. Be cautious as the road may be rough in sections.

Take a local bus from Phakse bus station to Champasak. Buses run frequently and the fare is about 10,000 LAK. Once you reach Champasak, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a motorcycle taxi to take you to Song Phou Dan Waterfall for around 30,000 LAK. Make sure to negotiate the price beforehand and confirm that they know the location of the waterfall.
