You will need to cross the river using the bridge to enter Chiang Rai Province. Once in Chiang Rai, continue on Route 1 (Phahonyothin Road) heading in the direction of Chiang Saen. After approximately 30 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Phra That Doi Pu Khao. Turn left onto the local road that leads to the site. Parking is available near the entrance.

    To reach Phra That Doi Pu Khao via public transportation, first, take a local bus or tuk-tuk from the center of Bokeo Province to the nearest bus terminal.
