If you are traveling by car from Vientiane, head northeast on Route 13. Continue on this route for approximately 150 kilometers until you reach Vang Vieng. Once in Vang Vieng, follow the signs towards the center. After reaching the town center, take a left onto Route 13 North and drive for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs pointing to Kaeng Nyui Waterfall. You will have to turn onto a smaller road to access the waterfall area, which is well-marked. The final stretch may require a bit of off-road driving, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended if the weather conditions are wet. Parking is available near the entrance to the waterfall.

From Vientiane, take a bus from the northern bus station (Talat Sao) to Vang Vieng. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours and costs around 50,000 to 60,000 Lao Kip. Once you arrive in Vang Vieng, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a shared taxi to take you to Kaeng Nyui Waterfall.
