Car
If you're traveling by car in the Golden Triangle area, start at any point in Chiang Saen. Head southeast on Route 1 (Highway 1) towards the border with Laos. Continue for about 15 km until you reach the intersection with Route 1121. Turn left onto Route 1121 and follow the signs for Golden Triangle Park. After approximately 5 km, you will arrive at the Golden Triangle Park Hall of Opium, located at Wiang, Chiang Saen District, Chiang Rai 57150, Thailand.
Public Transportation
To reach the Golden Triangle Park Hall of Opium via public transportation, first take a songthaew (shared taxi) or a tuk-tuk from the center of Chiang Saen. These can be found at various points around the city. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Golden Triangle Park. The fare should be around 60-100 THB per person. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. The songthaew will drop you off at the entrance of the park, from where it is a short walk to the Hall of Opium.
