Car
If you are driving from Luang Prabang city center, head east on Kounxoa Rd towards the Mekong River for about 1 km. You will reach the intersection with Route 13. Turn left onto Route 13 and continue for approximately 16 km. Look for signs directing you to the Nam Khan River area. The NAMKHAN PROJECT is located at V5XG+HH6, which is just off the main road. You can park your vehicle nearby.

Public Transportation (Songthaew)
From the Luang Prabang Night Market, locate a songthaew (shared taxi) that goes to the Nam Khan River area. The fare is typically around 20,000 LAK (Lao Kip) per person. Inform the driver you want to go to the NAMKHAN PROJECT. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you reach the vicinity, you may need to walk a short distance to the location at V5XG+HH6.

Bicycle
For a more adventurous option, rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Luang Prabang. Head east on Kounxoa Rd towards Route 13 and follow the same route as if you were driving. The total distance is about 16 km, and it will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Keep an eye out for the signs to the NAMKHAN PROJECT as you approach the area.

If you're already near the Nam Khan River and prefer to walk, you can follow the riverside paths from the village area. This is a scenic route but may take longer depending on your starting point. Ensure you have good footwear and stay hydrated. The exact location is at V5XG+HH6, which is near the riverbank.
