Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Luang Prabang (near the Night Market), head south on Phou Vao Road until you reach the intersection with Sisavangvong Road. Turn left onto Sisavangvong Road and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue until you reach the junction with Route 13. At this point, you can either take a left or right. If you take a left, follow Route 13 for about 1.5 kilometers until you see signs for NamKhan Horses Stables on your right.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Luang Prabang. Start from the city center and head towards the southern end of the city. Take the same route as if you were walking: go south on Phou Vao Road, turn left onto Sisavangvong Road, and continue for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the junction with Route 13, make a left and ride for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to NamKhan Horses Stables on your right.
